Hi all, so my sister and I just recently moved our bunny from a regular pet store cage to a much larger enclosure, about 12 square feet, using an X-pen... we threw a hidey inside, lots of toys, and of course hay, water, and food... I know that bunnies do not like change but I’m curious to know if anyone has tips to make him adjust to it more as right now he seems sort of frightened by it even though it’s a lot better and more fun for him. Thank you!
 
Let your bunny settle in, if my bunnies feel unsafe I often just spread out treats in the encloser which makes them more relax.

I do the same when my big sister dog come over, I will just give treats and my bunnies will come forward and not be as tense.
 
When you provided the new ex-pen did you keep the original cage? It is an easier transition if bunny has access to his original cage and the new pen.

No I did not, however I will now do that
