I’ve had my bunny for 4 years and I still can’t find out what breed he is. I’ve done a lot of research and think he might be a mix. He is white and has brown spots on his face and 2 more on the rest of his body. He has brown around his eyes and brownish blackish ears. This is what he looks like.

Gosh is he cute! I think he is a mix too, and one with very cute little ears! How much does he weigh?

Your bunny is really cute and seem to be mixed with a lop bunny. Maybe holland lop mix, depending on what size he is ☺️

Thank you. I have not been able to weigh him by himself due to my scale not taking his weight, but when I weigh myself with him I am 3.6 pounds heavier. I’m taking him to the vet soon so they can weigh him.

Thank you. If he is then that explains why I can’t get him to be over 4 pounds lol. I’m hoping he’s mixed with a long living bunny because those only last for 5-7 years. A little worried now lol. But I think he’s mixed with a bunny type that’s long and slender because he seems pretty long and slimmer than a holland bunny.

Holland lops get old, the ones that can have shorter lifespans is the giant bunnies that weight around 5 kg (11 lbs) and up. They have a mean lifespan of 5 to 7 years but your bunny dosen’t look like a giant. So you will have many years with your bunny as long no health issues comes up.

Giant bunnies can become older than 10 but it will all go down on how their life have been and health issues.

Smaller breeds often becomes 10 years or older, as long they are healthy ☺

Thank you so much. I’m very happy to hear that. I hope you have a great day :)

Our Checkered Giant was with us more than 10 years--rescue so we don't know her exact age and at 20 pounds, she was definitely a big girl. Pete was 11 when he went to the bridge, a little over 10 pounds. Our Mini-Rexes are the all time champs--2 lived 15 years, Coal was over 16 and Bambi was a month shy of 19. Take good care of them but the most important factor after that is their DNA.
