I truly don’t understand why a skittish bunny always want to escape outdoors and jump around.

Today Toste managed to sneak outdoors while my mom was hanging up the laundry to dry. He had managed to pushed up the office door, the garage door and the backside door which leads out to the yard. While myself was laying on the couch watching grey’s anatomy, I hear my mom yelling at me sounding really mad. I got up and expects to get a scolding. But the first thing I see outside is Toste staring at me and him turning tail and bolting away 🤣

My mom just keep on hanging the laundry and with a calm voice says: Catch him.

Yeah I know I have the goal to catch all the pokemon, on pokemon go but at least I don’t need to outsmart them. Toste had already the upper hand with his escape plan being a success.

I later managed to herd him into a corner of the garden and caught him, he tried to do a fast bolt but at least I was faster than him. When I held him in my arms he gave me a kiss. He’s such a silly boy.

So today I managed to catch a Toste in the wild 🤣

Truly a hard time making sure Toste don’t escape from house.

My bunny Neal once climbed out of his pen, figured out how to use the cat door and went on an evening jaunt in the snow while I was asleep. I woke up to find him waiting outside the door in the morning with his tracks all over the place. I was terrified, but Neal was really chill and clingly so he went right home when I opened the door. Little rascals, I know mine think it's funny when they nearly give me a heart attack or do the exact opposite of what I want

@Mac189 haha, they truly know how to make you panic. Toste don’t have the brain to come back home but he often listen when you call him back.

But because my neigbours always have their dogs loose and we don’t have fence between I get more scared.

Toste it’s up on 21 successful escapes that’s together with him living outdoors and indoors. At least I managed to catch him before he escaped through the window and it’s not that high from the ground if he jumps down. I know my neighbor dog won’t do anything but the dog can scare Toste away from the area or up into the forest.

But it’s hard keeping your eyes on them 🤣

My bunny Miss Jane used to do that unbeknownst to me. She was a house bunny but outside she dug holes. She had dug stealth tunnel under fence. Finally a neighbor told me are you aware she regularly will prance down the middle of the sidewalk visiting? WHAT? He said if someone approached her she would run back in her hole. That was her cammo move. Bad girl. I feel your story! Bunnies are frisky and get into mischief. She could run like a hare on the moor too.

Today Toste truly have been a mischievous bunny. I had my last exam today which was written from a distance with my laptop. While I was writing my exam and have gone 2/3, a flying bunny comes landing right on the laptop and make everything close down. The panic I had that everything would be deleted, then I would had spent 3 hours for nothing. But I was lucky I could restore everything.

He later demanded for attention and refused to leave me alone, he tried to jump up onto me again. He wanted cuddles, so to make sure he would stop I gave him cuddles to make him stop being a bother.

Later I went out to get a glass of water, so I could focus better. Guess who took the liberty to occupy the computer chair. Toste had snuggled up on, I also noticed my speakers and computer screen had been moved, this was for my stationary computer. I got a bit annoyed and told him to jump down from the chair but he ignored me and squinted his eyes, looking all content up on his new throne.

I was going to pick him up and put him on my bed, instead he had other thoughts. He nipped me and growled, I was not going to handle his bossy attitude. So I just picked him up and let him sleep on my bed instead. Such a spoiled boy acting all grumpy.

You might expect that was all he did today, nope he left a little present up on the bed. He left a huge wet spot of urine up on the duvet and then he hid under the bed.

At least he didn’t struggle today when I was cleaning his ears, so the only time he acted really as a good boy with all the trouble he caused today.

Oh Toste is such a rascal. You know, our rabbits remind me of sour patch kids. One moment they're sour, the next they're sweet. They sure know how to tug at our heart string.

Because of Trixie's last bed accident, I've stopped allowing her hop onto the bed. As much as I miss her jumping up and asking for cuddles, I sure don't miss having to wash my bedding in vinegar and rewashing them again with detergent.

I know, this was the first time Toste have every peed up on the bed. I’m going to wash everything tomorrow and make sure everythings clean. At least it was the duvet that had been messed up and not the madras.

I love the sweet movements but sometimes the sour movements will give a good laugh later on 🤣

That was hilarious because we all have been there. When a bunny is naughty they get really frisky. I had a bunny that always wanted me to puck her up. If I was not prompt, she would latch onto my slipper and to the right angle head toss. Then nip by big toe and run away. Then come back to make sure I had considered my options. Very naughty. Every person has some form of what you went through, it made me laugh. Especially dorking on the keyboard and you are terrified its all gone.

Ditto if you are working from home, in a meeting and presenting and out of corner of eye bun is raving.

Toste had manged to figure out that the air tight bags and container have treats in them. So he took the mission to climb the bookshelf destroy the unopen pellets bag and tip the treat jar. I have no idea of how much treats and pellets he have eaten but he seem okay, I’ll be filling up the hay and keep him on a hay diet today and tomorrow. Because I noticed 1/4 of the treats are gone and the pellets I have no idea how much he manage to put in his stomach. I’ll be keeping an eye on him and make sure his stomach will be okay.

How much can a bunny eat under 3 hours, do any of you have an idea 😅

At least I cleaned up the mess after him and will need to find new conatiners to store the treats and the food. I’m going to lure him out from under the bed, he’s been hiding from me the whole day because I need to clean his ears which he hates.

I manage to lure him out from the bed with his favorite treats. He didn’t get the treat but at least it tells me, he still wants to eat his treats and I can easily clean his ears ☺️
