Bought my gorgeous Poppy loppy at pets at home eastleigh back in June 2014, she didnt seem well, we phoned the manageress at pets at home and she said she would pay for all vet bills and food, i said I would pay for the food as she was paying for vet bills, Poppy kept going into gi statis and no one knew why this went on for months, they found a lump on her ovary so we had her spayed, pets at home still paying at this point. she was ok for a while but kept going into gi statis, I also saw she was drinking alot too, anyway we have kept her going and then november 2019 , she was losing weight, I phoned pets at home store but the manageress had left the company and no one knew about our arrangement, I complained to head office who said they would investigate anyway nearly 5 months of fighting, they wrote me a horrible email and said the were not paying anymore because we had no contract even though it states it on her vet bills. Now they have left me with a sick rabbit that is dying because now she needs a op to remove a bladder stone. I cannot afford any further treatment and im feeling heartbroken that pets at home could do such a thing, even if I tried to sue pets at home it doesnt help Poppy now.
do anyone know anything about bladder stones.
Thank you

General information:

I know you're in the UK, but do you think the vet there would allow you to make payments? There's also these resources (top half suggestions are in the states, but the crowdfunding and info below could be an option for you?)

That is really unfortunate that Pets At Home, but if the company does not provide you with a contract with how long they are to pay for Poppy, there's not much you can fight them with. In a contract, they would see that both the previous manager and you had an arrangement and could follow up. But to them, it's more like "he said, she said". I'm so sorry that you're going through this. I hope the list above will be able to help you out. :(

There are a few ways to help her or at least get her to a vet.

1. Find a vet sort charity that will allow you to make a small payment or none at all for treatment for her. https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pet-ad...rinary-treatment-when-you-cant-afford-it.html
https://www.pdsa.org.uk/taking-care-of-your-pet/eligibility

2. Ask your vet if you can pay in instalments, let’s say the vet bill is £150, you could pay it through six months for example.

3. Start a Gofundme page?

4. The RSPCA could help you.

I would also invest in Rabbit insurance so that this instance shouldn’t happen again

Good luck. You’re great for sticking with her for this many years

Hi, I've phoned Anton vets rabbit savvy who cannot help her or let me have a payment arrangement as I'm a new customer.
I don't know how to save her as no one is willing to help

Have you looked at the links that both @Apollo’s Slave and I gave? There's crowd funding (aka GoFundMe), there's charities/non profits, or a rescue that could try to help.
