Fresh fruit makes a good treat. Just keep to the general rule of no more than 1-2 tbsp per day. (Some rabbits can't tolerate that much) Here is a page from my website on treat options.

Go easy on any citrus fruits as they can cause ulcers if given too much.

Do older bunnies need a different diet??
And also what do i feed a 5 month and a 6 month old bunny ?

I've never fed citrus fruits to my bun .
I only feed berries , banana and apple .
Maybe grapes in the summer .
She loves banana and berries!

Do you have any ideas for other treats????
But they have never made her sick .
I find banana makes their poop soft, so I quit that all together. There favourite is apple.
I tried melon and they won't eat it.
I'm going to try watermelon next.

They don't sell it in my supermarket during the winter .
It's so hard to find veg for my rabbits in winter!

We are lucky where we live here in the USA because our employee-owned warehouse-style grocery carries kale and two different kinds of parsley--our buns like the Italian variety the best--along with a host of other veggies; however, I feed only the ones mentioned. We also have willow trees growing in the countryside; so, the buns eat the leaves in the summer and during the winter I feed them the branches. They devour the twigs and nibble the bark off the larger branches. The buns *love* willows, if the flavor is right. :) (They turn up their noses at some varieties, slightly different; only the bunnies know why. ;-) )

We cover diet in detail here, including a widget where you can enter your rabbit's weight and it will calculate for you the weights of pellets/greens/hay you should be feeding daily https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rabbit-diet/ There are pages describing how the digestive system works, healthy greens, how important hay (or grass) is, in the section on obesity a link to a chart that helps you keep a check on whether your rabbit is overweight or underweight, or of course just right, and the importance of water. Well worth reading those sub-sections

My male bun refuses to eat hay, not sure why. He is a picky little guy lol
Hay you tried compressed hay cubes that have no molasses or anything else in them. I had a rabbit that refused to eat hay. Later on I discovered why, he had bone spurs on the back of his molars. I had his molars filed down, he still refused hay but loved his hay cubes.

We have six buns that are not picky eaters; however, we have bought some hay that they refuse to touch. Right now, we're feeding them baled timothy purchased right out of the field, locally. It doesn't look as pretty as the bagged brand-name stuff; but, the gobble it down with gusto. They love it! :)

I would suggest trying different kinds of hay.

He ate our hay we grow which is orchard grass...but now being winter, it's not available until the snow goes. I've been buying hay since winter started and there's never anything available other than Timothy hay.

He had his teeth all fixed up two weeks ago, so it's not his teeth. He's just picky lol

If you can find them in your area, go to farm supply stores that cater to people with horses. Sometimes they'll have grass hay. We cut our own orchard grass, too, until last winter arrived. We found a place that supplies hobby farms. They filled the gap until the next haying season and we bought right out of the field, thanks to Craigslist.
