after giving my bunny a treat each day for a week she stopped eating her pellets now i realized the problem shes spoiled i decided not to give her treats anymore but it hasn't worked it's been 5 days since i stopped the treats and all she eats is hay and veggies she will not touch the pellets how do i un spoil her or if all fails whats a good no pellet diet for a 2 and a half year old bunny. also iv'e tried giving her pellets as a treat she smells it and gives me the "you're crazy" look.

I'd just leave her without pellets for a few days, if she has her unlimited hay and unlimited water she'll be fine, then would offer pellets but starting from a smaller amount. If you think she's too spoiled you can limit attention she gets as well, is she a free-run?

Have you made any changes to her pellets? New bag? New brand?

It really isn't a big deal if she doesn't eat pellets. They should only comprise about 3% of her diet anyway.

I would be concerned, though, of it being due to a dental issue. If a rabbit suddenly stops eating just the pellets, or just the hay, it could be an indication of something with her teeth. They eat pellets in a different way than they eat hay or greens. So it is possible that whatever chewing motion she uses to chew pellets is causing pain.

It might be worth a trip to a rabbit savvy vet to check it out.

If it is not her teeth, then you can still provide a pellet-free diet. You'll need to add a variety of greens, though, to be sure she gets all the nutrients she needs. It might be easier to try some other healthy pellet brand. Here are some options.

yes she's free run only in my room though cause i have a dog and two cats and i'll try that cause she was eating before i started her on treats i feel she used them as her pellets.

Thank you i'll get her different food on Sunday i get money on the first maybe a different smell will make her eat her teeth are good i check them every day along with her ears its cause i introduced treats to her and she got spoiled from it i had to cut her treats out. i might try what the other person said first take her pellets away for a few days then slowly introduce them back if that dont work ill try a new brand of food probably selective its at my local petco.

UPDATE: she is eating her pellets now i took her bowl out cleaned it put veggies in it and she ate that all up i just tried putting pellets in the bowl and she ate some of the pellets.
