Rabbit fur growth

My rabbit is a grey colered rabbit and lost her fur my her butt area cuz of scalding but now shes healed and her fur area is turning a dark color and some fur is growing on it. Is it normal for her skin to become the same color as her fur?

I find that when fur is growing back in, the skin sometimes temporarily changes color.
