My rabbit had 2 babies. They are just over a week old and I have discovered they have regular sized common fly maggots under their skin on the head and both ears. I think when they were born a fly layed them in their ears. I have used a sterile water in a suringe to flush them out and then added triple antibiotic cream in their ear and under the skin on their little tiny heads. I am not sure they will survive. I have gently squeezed out over a dozen so far. Makes me sick and the smell was horrific, too. Is there anything else I can do? Surprisingly though , they are fat and lively and seem to be doing ok.

antibiotics doesn't work.
visit a vet as quickly as possible

Flystrike can be fatal in less than 12 hours, the number is probably lower with babies. You need to get to a vet.
