Why is he SO aggressive?

My male rabbit cookie ( 9 months old ) , is so aggressive.
Bites hard if you even go near him ..
Why is that?
And what can i do to make him calm down?

It’s he neutered or do you have other bunnies in the house. Might be a territorial thing how he acts or him being scared.

But quite often it’s territorial if he’s not neutered, it can become even a bigger problem if there’s other bunnies and you smell like them ^^

He's neutered , and i have 7 other bunnies .
6 babies , he gets along with all of them .

In what situations will he act aggressive, is it in the cage or when someone get close to him.

Is it food aggressive, or when you are going to pick him up, fast movements and so on ^^

Is it a new behavior or old, does he growl before biting or try to back away. Or do he chase after people.

Uh , he's been doing it for about two months , he lunges on your hand if you go near him .

Usually when a bunny is aggressive, it means they're scared. Do you approach him? You could try sitting on the floor while paying no attention to him as he approaches you. After doing that for a while, you can begin to offer treats or pellets when he comes near you. You can work your way up to petting. Take it slow though.

When did you neuter him? Was it recently or it have been a few months. Just to rule out hormonal changes and him being territorial ^^

Otherwise it’s him acting scared, you can have his pellets ration in your pockets during the day. So every time he sees you, you give him one. He will slowly associate you with something positive and become more safe

It's been 4 months since i got him neutered , and i tried that with him ..
As thats what i did with my other bunny , and it worked for her but not for him

Maybe take him to a veterinarian to check that he’s not in pain. Because his behavior started 2 months ago and he didn’t have the problem before. He’s not hormonal and the neutered have already been many months ago.

Otherwise he would always be scared like before and would had been aggressive from the beginning or at least showed signs/signals that he was hinting towards being scared/ aggressive.

I must be lucky, my bunnies never bite me even if they refuse to come out their cage. Or try hiding.

Maybe I take them out alot to the park / shopping center they just became very good with people. Because I get that comment alot from people that my bunnies are very well behaved or tame.

6-10 kids can be petting them at the same time and they never bit any of them.

It could be that he I had a super aggresive female she would honk if I even walked by her and would bite me when I went to feed her. So I tried to bond with her since I could not trust her I had her in a cage. Throigh the cage bars I would feed her veggies so that she associated me with good things. Then after she stopped honking at me when I walked by I made her a ramp and I would lay on the floor to look less thretining she could choose weather or not to trust me for the first two days she would not come out then on the third she did she ran around but steered clear or me laying on the floor then after a week she started to climb on me I didnt acnowlage her and I keps playing on my phone so I didnt scare her. Soon she would come up to me and see what I was doing thats when I started to brung treats like small bits of bannana and apple with me I then sat up after she began to trust me. Then she finally after almost three weeks layed on the floor and let me pet her. Now I can click my tounge if I want her to vome and she comes to me she cuddles with me and hasnt bit or growled at me since. Mabye you just need to bond with your bunny aldo try to be mindful of their cage if you have one that is their space and nobody is really happy when sombody snoops in their room so make sure they are out of their cage before you do anything like clean it to feed and water them or pet them is fine but font mess with their things they get grumpy lol
