My rabbit has always has one of his ears standing up since birth (2 years old) but for the past 4 days both of his ears are down to the side, and he just seems a bit sad, any ideas what I should do??

Is your rabbit still eating, drinking, and pooping like normal? What breed is your bunny? I have a holland lop x mini rex and her ears drooped until she was about one, she could only raise them a little. Now she has full control and can they stick straight up or droop depending on what she's doing, what she hears and how relaxed she is. As long as he's eating, drinking and pooping normally I would just watch it for a while, but if you are really concerned go to the vet. Rabbits have incredible amounts of muscle in their ears and it's very possible that he's just choosing to drop them. You can also lift the ear and look into it. If it looks red your bun might have an ear infection.

Yes he’s eating and drinking, but not rushing to his food like he would usually do, he’s a dwarf lop, and would always have one ear up untill now

Keep monitoring his food intake and fecal droppings, if it gets worse take him to the vet. You know your bunny best so trust your gut!

I would get him to the vet. Ears drooping and reduced/lack of appetite are both likely indicators of some sort of underlying health problem going on. It could be an ear infection, ear mites, or something else unrelated to the ears. Since it's been going on a few days, if the ear drooping isn't because you are having a sudden heat wave with high temperatures, then I would get your bun to a rabbit vet to be checked.
