My rabbit recently broke one of his top teeth off, I have no idea how but it’s growing back and he’s eating/pooping fine. But, once it grows back completely will he still be dq’ed from shows? Will you always be able to tell he had a broken tooth at one point?

As long as it grows in with the correct alignment you should't have a problem. But it will take several months for the tooth to grow enough that the broken part will be completely worn away. I would continue to keep an eye on it for the next few months to ensure it's growing in correctly.

If it grows back straight then it's not a DQ. But if they break them off rather far, sometimes they grow back crooked. If they do grow back crooked you can try trimming both so they regrow at the same time (I think the fact that they're being worn down at different rates is one of the things that makes then crooked after a break) but you can't show until they're completely grown back.

It will grow fully back, rabbits teeth never stop growing so they always have to wear them down.

When it fully grown out, no one will notice it had been broken.
Hi, I have a young Mini Rex. I just noticed one of his top tooth is loose and cracked near to his gum. I don't know how that happened, Is the broken tooth going to fall by itself or should be taken off? How long it take time the new tooth grow? I feel so bad for my bunny because he is not able to eat properly and I guess he is on pain. Could you please give me some advises?

Hi, when this happened to my bunny his tooth grew back within a couple weeks. But with that said he was eating properly. I’d take him to the vet.

Thanks for your reply. Did your bunny's broken tooth fell and then new one grew? Is there any hope the loose tooth fall off by itself?

I would just say to give your rabbit plenty things to chew on so that if it is sharp it can ware down before it gets uncomfortable for your rabbit to chew

Thanks! His Tooth just fell down today morning!

Keep an eye on his teeth, sp he don’t start to grow wrong. If his teeth start to grow wrong then you should take him to the vet so they can correct his teeth.

Thanks, He got a new tooth after few days, last night he jumped from my daughter's arm and hit the wall, Now he is not able to move :( I guess he hurts his back. Do you have any idea about this?
