So I'm getting ready for a cold winter for my buns, Bonnie and Bailey, both neutered and around 6months old.
They live in a 8x6shed which I converted for them, they do have a little peep hole which they can go outside into their run, I plan to cover this over at nights in the winter. They have a fleece blanket, but I have an old single quilt and pillows, will these be OK/bunny safe?IMG_20180927_155451_462.jpeg

Super cute set up! It depends if your bunnies are likely to chew and eat them - if not then they are perfectly safe :)

They are chewers but not chewed any form of fabric as of yet [emoji23] they just chew wood lol. I have the little bed at the top which they haven't chewed so I'm guessing they will be safe?

That’s defo a good sign then, I know there are lots of bunnies on here who do like to eat blankets! Yeah I’d give it a go, if you start to notice holes then take it away.

Yea ill give it a go when it gets cooler, they tend to enjoy laying on the floor on their blanket rather than in all the straw bedding areas [emoji23] so I figured if I put an old quilt with a cover on they'd lay on that and keep warmer

I don’t blame them, wouldn’t you do the same! Sounds great I’m sure they’ll love it :)

I would not use a hammock. It's cute, but too easy for a bunny to hurt himself.
It's not that high up for them to injury themselves, plus they love it and use it often enough to know what they are doing. They've used them from when they was babies 20180826_075252.jpeg20180818_204530.jpegIMG_20180711_225120_540.jpeg
