My sons rabbit has chewed his ramp in his new hutch and I’m looking to replace it with an aluminum ramp. Is that bad for them to have aluminum in their cage?

No. The surface should have good grip though, and should not be abrasive, better not bare metal.

I would rather keep replacing wooden ramps though, if he keeps using them as chewing toys, well, great, that's what rabbits enjoy doing. You could also put a replaceable sacrifice chewing board at the spots where he likes to chew.

I have wooden hutches, and such sacrificial boards at some of the doors, other parts I don't want chewed get treated with somewhat diluted rabbit urine, rinsed and dried, I think it works even if I can't notice it, their noses are so much more sensitive than ours and mine don't nibble soiled stuff.
