Urgent. ....my rabbitb is covered in fleas, never had them on my rabbits till this year and I've just lost one, not sure if fleas were the cause but obviously didn't help. I've read up online and tried everything and nothing is working. I don't want to loser this rabbit too.please help with any suggestions.

Have you taken your rabbit to the vet? A heavy infestation of fleas can lead to anemia, which can be fatal. Best to get to a rabbit savvy vet right away, especially if your rabbit is acting unwell at this point(lethargic, not eating or drinking). Treatment for fleas is with Revolution(selamectin) spot on application. Regular Advantage(imidacloprid) is considered rabbit safe as well, though may not be as effective. Though if your rabbit is ill and anemic at this point, further treatments from your vet such as fluids, may be necessary in addition to the flea treatment.

Just a warning: NEVER use Frontline(fipronil) on rabbits. It is considered toxic and can be fatal.
