My bunny, Pumpkin, is a 5 year Holland Lop. I got him when he was 2.

I have steam heat in my apartment that has a container covering the unit.

However, there's a slight gap between the end of the container and the floor. He used to squeeze his little body into that gap and hide underneath the steam heater.

I stopped this by getting wide air conditioner weather seal foam and closing off the opening.

Recently, after a long time, he has started to chew through the insulation to gain access to this space again.

Can anyone recommend any other way to seal off this space?

Thank you.

Build a custom barrier out of CC cubes/grids, these are the same thing people use to build cages. That way you don't have to shell out the money for a puppy pen that's too big. That's what I have done in my apartment, both to keep rabbits away from things like electrical wires, and to keep my chihuahua/Jack Russel from chewing everything in sight.

Here's a website with CC grids, in case you aren't familiar with them:

Ignore the price, here in Candaduh we pay more for everything than the rest of the civilized world. :rollseyes
