It started about 4pm yesterday with the thumping, as most people know this is "Danger!" or "I am really upset.". Then a few hours when by and he started chewy grindy teeth... I put my finger in his mouth to inspect and almost got bit, good thing they are not carnivorous. Teeth all seemed fine.
Then close to my bedtime, the drooling started. But not the normal drooling the smelly kind. I couldn't take him into a vet until the morning so I kept an eye on him and researched the internet. All the stuff I found was not an emergency but it also wasn't good news either.
:bed:
I finally decided I really needed at least 4 hours of sleep to make it in to work, so I went to bed at 4am. When I woke up to my alarm, he is looking just fine. No drool, no teeth grinding, no thumping... I called a friend over and told Baron to keep an eye on his bunnysitter.
So here I am at work feeling like leftover crud, and I called the house and he tells me that Baron pooped all over, huge and softy about half an inch long logs! Other than that he seems to be ok. Did he just have a 24 hour rabbit flu?
I am going to tell the boss I am not feeling well and head back home early today. Because I don't think he will go for the sick rabbit excuse. Depending on what I observe, I will decide then about taking him to the vet. My friend might be exaggerating the size of those poops. When I see them for myself I will let you guys know.
BTW before someone asks, never had surgery of any kind, the Baron and I are both as God made us. ;D
