Hello everyone (who clicked on this thread), it is I, Ava!
Saturday was a rabbit show!!!! (The second one this month) Me and my older sister, who shows both Californian and Netherland Dwarf, showed our rabbits and got surprisingly good results!
This show was in Copperas Cove, Texas, and we had to get up at 1:00a.m and leave by 3:00a.m to get there in time. (I showed my Mini Rex, Juliet Geraldine!)
This show also had showmanship, hopping, costume contest, arts and crafts, a festival, and Breed ID to go along with the breed show. My sister showed her two Sr. Californian Bucks and her Sr. Netherland Dwarf Doe. With her doe, she won Best Opposite Sex out of the dwarf class and 2nd in hopping. With one of her bucks, she won second in the Cali class and first with him in showmanship. The other buck, she won Best of Breed.
With my one little rabbit, she placed 8th in her class.
I did Breed ID and one 1st overall in the Intermediate class.
It was a very fun show and we hope to go again next year. I am so surprised that all the rabbits did so well!
Well, I need to go clean cages before it gets fully dark.
