I have a 3 month old mini rex and i wonder which part of the hay that gives most nutrition? the stem or the leaves? The hay I purchased from a pet store usually has more stems than leaves and my rabbit usually finishes off the leaves and leave alot of stems.
Will it be ok if i force feed him with stems only till he finishes it before i replenish his hay? to avoid wastage.
