How do you read a 1 cc syringe when the dosage is 0.49? That should be just under 1 cc correct? I need a brain refresher.

That would be just under the .5 mark, which is halfway up the syringe.

.49 is almost .5 which is half of 1. So if you have a 1cc syringe youll go halfway. Just under the .5 mark
