I posted while ago about my rabbit not eating hay and wanting a pellet supplement. Thanks to the responses I have switched him over to orchard grass hay and he's doing great! I filled his litter box with hay and now I made him a little hay manger out of a cardboard box and it keeps it neat. He's been sitting in there nibbling away ever since. And the manger keeps the hay so neat and not all over the box! Last night he ate all the hay in the manger overnight. He has never done that. Now I am providing more vegetables as well as the unlimited hay and his paper eating and cardboard eating habits have gone way down. He still occasionally gets pellets but no more than 1/4 cup a day and he is a happy happy rabbito! Thanks for all the responses everyone!
