Okay she was spayed 4-5 days ago. She has already managed to rip out both her internal and external stitches and has been restitched. The vet insisted she didn't rip then out herself and didn't need a cone just to confine her in a smaller cage. Now shes in a cat carrier an I'm still worried about her ripping them out she wont leave them alone and has an absolute fit when it comes to a homemade cone any suggestions!?

hold her until she settles down. Be firm yet gentle and distract with good yummies.
There are a few options others have tried. A baby or pet onesie, a soft e collar, a donut collar, and wrapping with some vetwrap, very carefully and not tight as you don't want to constrict the lungs. Well, really any of these that could restrict airflow, you need to be careful not to do too tightly, though you also need to make sure they are also snug enough to stay on.
