Bonding neutered male & unspayed female

Has anyone ever bonded a neutered male & an unspayed female? How did it go & do you have any tips?

Peanut is 4 months old- getting neutered at the end of the month.

We are getting Penelope at the end of this month.. She will be 9 weeks old.

We are going to keep them separated for6-8 weeks after Peanut's surgery... But I would like to bond them after he is all healed & no longer fertile.

Do you have any tips???

are you going to be spaying Penelope when she is old enough? i only have one (spayed) rabbit, so i am not sure how your situation would go, but i recommend spaying her. when my rabbit became mature, she was… weird. very loving but in a weird way, not to mention peeing everywhere when out of the cage. i feel like having one fixed rabbit might put stress on one or both of them
