I'm not really sure if this is in the right spot, but I couldn't find a better place.

Why can't we edit posts anymore? We used to be able to until just recently. For example, I'll make a new post, then read it over again and want to go in and edit something, and have to make another post saying what I want to edit. The editing option is gone!

I noticed that, too... I noticed a very dumb typo in one of my posts and I was searching EVERYWHERE for the edit button! I'm glad I'm not the only one to have noticed this... Perhaps the forums had a hiccup or they're changing something. I love edit buttons - allows typo-makers such as myself to correct my mistakes.

I noticed that myself! Yesterday I was trying to edit a post (while there still was an edit button) after I changed my post I clicked the save button and it said your post is too short. There are less than 4 characters. WTH! There were plenty more than 4 characters! So I just didn't edit it. I hope they fix this problem soon. Its quite annoying.

Huh I just looked. That's weird lol, maybe it's just some temporary glitch.

Hi Folks,

We are making some adjustments to the editing system right now - in the meantime, if you have something significant in your post that needs changing, please just PM a Mod.

Thanks,
NorthernAutumn

There actually never used to be an open edit on the old forum There was a short time limit.
Were just trying to get things back to how they used to be.

But, the text box has spell check anyway so those typos shouldn't be THAT bad. I love seeing all the red squiggly lines when I type haha.

Haha Watermelons, so do I! The only time I usually use it besides spelling is when I want to add things to my post.

Ya, mainly just adding or changing the wording of something.

It used to be that if you posted, you could edit it for a short time afterwords.

Yes and a time limit will come back. Just need some time for the admin to sort all that out.
What I do miss is not having that ugly obvious line at the bottom of the posts when you do edit it! Its like HEY LOOK I MESSED UP!
