New family member!

Hi all

We have had our rabbit for 3 days, and thought it would be a good ideato learn more on a forum. The rabbits name is Mimsy. I will post apicture soon.

Mimsy is a bit skittish at present. The store worker said that someeffort would be necessary in taming or getting used to handling.

I'm not very good at picking up and down, and Mimsy doesn't like beinghandled initially, though will calm down a bit and allow us to strokeand pet.

I'm wondering what I need to do in order to train Mimsy so that handling becomes easier and not stressful.

I 'think its a she, but I haven't checked yet as I don't want to upset'her' by turning her upside down. So I think I will just say she untilI know otherwise , lol.
