There is much debate about whether rabbits can eat oranges or not. Can they (in moderation)? Opinions, thoughts?

We've given our buns slices before, never more then a slice per bun and not very often, but they like them and they never have a reaction. Babbitty absoloutly adores oranges.

I've fed Ash oranges before and he loves them! He's never had a any problems.

The other day I downloaded a list "safe fruits and vegetables" from www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk and oranges (not the peel) is on that list. Says only a small amount of fruit because of sugar.
