Hey my rabbit just suffered from sore hocks. If you don't know what that is, it's there heel and if it's red don't take them to the vet (waste of money) I toke my rabbit to the vet because I thought it was infected but it wasn't.

I put down 2 thick fleece blankets and a old bed sheet down to help with softness. Do not let your rabbit out of his cage unless if the area is super padded with soft fleeces and not towels.
I also use a gel/cream called Bag Balm and I absolutely love it! It works for dry skin. I use Bag Balm on my rabbits hocks.

How I apply Bag Balm:
Turn rabbit on his/her back and get a little bit of bag balm and rub it in the hocks.

I also wrap my rabbit hocks because his hocks were really cracked and sore.
But now I just apply bag balm and a super padded C&C (3 1/2ft-5ft big) my bun is not bored in his cage because I put a few brain stimulating toys and a second level (with ramp) so he is happy as can be

I hope this helps with your rabbits sore hocks.
