Miko is home safe a little shaken and disgruntled but he is home safe and most importantly alive !!
During the surgury they had to drain his abscess (which has been left open to help it continue draining), remove two back teeth and rasp all his other teeth...
He is going back tomorrow to be monitored by the vets and is on all the necessary pain medications, antibiotics, fluids and critical care food until he is well.
As of now he is napping on my bed with Mila and doesn't appear to be in any pain whatsoever.
Attached are some photos of him post operation, the blood on/around his chin is from the abscess that has to be left open and the tape on his ear is a catheter to administrate fluids and drugs etc.
