I'm thinking of getting a desk made out of radiata pine. Would it be safe for bunnies? As their cages would be beside my desk.:bunnydance:

as long as it's kiln-dried, it's totally safe (which it appears most if not all pine used in furniture is)... and even if it's not, I don't believe it would hurt them as long as they weren't peeing on it, as I *think* it's the interaction of the urine and the phenols (which are removed by the kiln-drying process) that causes problems.
