Play pen?

So I got charlie a dog crate the one for large dogs and now I wanna get a play Pen to connect to it for him roam in when I'm at work. Do you have any suggestions? I like the Marshall play pen but I don't know how big they are or what to get because I'd have to order it online. As big as his cage is now its still cluttered a play pen would give him more room but I dont have a clue! Help !

I have two exercise pens (or I did before they seemed to disappear during a long rescue project) .

Make sure its the kind that will open all the way out, you can add panels or a second pen to expand it.

Many fold up with a suitcase-like handle to carry it, they're very handy.

Another option is building one from cube shelving panels, like the one pictured. If you use zip ties instead of the connectors that come with them, and you overlap the panels a bit, they can be pretty sturdy for indoor use. (I wouldn't trust it to protect the bunnies from dogs, etc, though).

We have a couple of pens we got at Petsmart--they fold up nicely.

Are they for dogs?
