Ooooh, I like Rosie. I think I'm going to call Lola Rosie now.

Or "Lola Rose" (ever read that book?) I LOVE that name, our friends have a hamster called it.

OOPS! Sorry, LizBuns, I was trying to clean up the triple post and all three somehow disappeared instead of just two! You can see what you wrote here, though.

sorry!

Love the site with the names..most of my horses have names on that list...

Our Hollands were: Winslow, Torianne, Peanut, Kimber, Isabelle, Belle, Hershey he used to chase our Basset Hound - what a funny sight they were), Lily, Ermidar, Zach, Timoleena, Sausage, Steak (one of my sons named his after food but they were loved pets and show buns).

My Fuzzy Lops were the Crown Jewel, Superdave, Ebony and Kicker.

Currently rabbitless and looking, the names are helpful for when I find my new buns.

does any one else use baby name books for pet names? they're great resources, my favorite is the 'baby name wizard' because it has more info and style lists that are really cool:cool:. there's also a web site, i love thename voyager!

on my current fave list is-

Isabel(l/le/la), Gwen(dolyn), Pip(per/pin/pi), Sophi(e/a), Willow, Sky(e/la/lar), Chloe, Lyric, Ivy, Lark, Swift, Ffion(FEE-on), Ainsley, Fallon, Clover, Brooklyn, Bloosom, Poppy, Ella, Libby, Olivia, Deva(meaning-those who play in light, pronounced like Diva)), Lainey, ]Chelsea andLivia.

i've started doing the thing with the (), which i think is rather clever. you start with your base(lets say Isabel-)....Isabel.....and then in parentheses you add in all the variations, separated by a slash(/). it cuts down on typing and you have all your variations of a name basein one place.]

can y'all tell i spend waaay to much time thinking of future pet names:D?]
