I got my first rabbit yesterday, and I've always wanted one. I was told he is a Broken Tort Mini Rex. I've been volunteering for a pet store (I'm taking Veterinary Assisting online), and just had to get one.

I think he is cute but I'm his "Mom" so it's nice to hear from other people.

The cage we got is really large, it's about 4 feet long. I let him hop outside the cage whenever I am there to watch. The apartment is quite bunny friendly, and there are not a lot of cables for him to chew on (I heard they do that).

It is a two bedroom apartment, and the spare bedroom is entirely his except for some exercise equipment!

He looks like such a doll! Mini Rexes were also my first rabbits. They are great and I don't think you will be disappointed!

How cute! I can tell you one thing for sure though...he's not a tort! lol He looks tri to me.

I show cats in cat shows, so my expertise is with cats. I'm clueless when it comes to rabbits, and I was just told "Broken Tort"... so I am open to all suggestions.
