Upright Ears - Normal Fur - Solid Black or Blue

American
(Rare) - Adult weight 9-12 pounds - back arch starts back of the shoulders, running to a point forward of the hips ("mandolin" shape), looked at from the top, the body tapers slightly from hips to shoulders.

Beveren (Rare) - Adult weight 8-12 pounds - also "mandolin" shaped, like the American. The Beveren has "rollback" fur about 1¼"-1½" long - if you stroke the fur "backward" (tail to head), it returns slowly to a flat position.

Havana - a smaller rabbit, adult weight 4½-6½ pounds. The back is curved evenly from the base of the ears to a peak at the hips, then smoothly down to the tail. The neck is short and the head broad. Havanas have "flyback" fur - if you stroke the fur "backward" (tail to head), it returns quickly to a flat position.

New Zealand - another large rabbit, 9-12 pounds in adult weight. Unlike the American or Beveren (and like the Havana) the back is curved evenly from the base of the ears to a peak at the hips, then smoothly down to the tail. It has "flyback" fur - if you stroke the fur "backward" (tail to head), it returns quickly to a flat position.
