I am confused about bedding. I am getting a bunny in about a week, and it will be outside in a hutch. I have been looking around for bedding for my rabbit and I don't know what brands to buy! There are so many options. People recommend carefresh, wood shavings, and paper shreds! I want something affordable and I am in a huge dilemma! Please help!

My rabbits live outside and I like use wood shavings, they are comfy for the rabbits and also easy to clean out. Although I sometimes put newspaper under the wood shavings to insulate the floor of their cage, hope this helps!🐰
I agree, I use wood shavings all of the time with a thick layer of newspaper underneath - however I place it there so that the urine doesn't ruin my hutch if it ever gets too wet. Also I heard that putting hay where they do their business helps reduce the smell. Not sure if it works but worth a try!
