Can I use non-rabbit safe plywood for base of cage? It would be covered with vinyl. I am making my bunny a new cage from scratch and have to customize the flooring and everything. When I go to buy plywood for the base of her cage, I looked into kiln-dried pine, completely rabbit safe. But it was very expensive so I was wondering if I could use OSB or something? It would be covered with sheet vinyl and bordered with furring strips. When I get enough money to make it(or find a good enough deal) I will show pics! Thank you bunny lovers!

If you're going to put any money into making this hutch do it right. You're WAY better to use PROPER PLYWOOD not OSB. Osb is way more likely to swell and offgas and rot.
