changing colors ???

Okey. My girl is around 9 months old (+/-) and for the last 2-3 months she has been changing the color of her fur.. she used to be yellow/creme/beige color with some grayish marks on her backside..(see avatar) now she is turning gray... her ears have turned completely gray her nose has this big dark spot around it. her face has a lot of gray hairs and her belly is gray, i was wondering if it was a seasonal or an age related thing and if it was a normal thing?

She is molting her baby Coat. It is perfectly normal

the rabbit in your avatar looks like a black japanese to me with some torting.

be interesting to see actual images of how her coat is changing. usually the orange will darken (and if torted, the torting will become more obvious).

she looks like a typical black japanese maturing. The lighter colours will disappear as her adult coat comes in.

Some of ours have changed a bit with age and each molt too.
