When is the rabbit breeding season? i.e what months of the year?
I know it will depend on where you live, so if anyone is from the Sydney region in Oz that would be good to hear from you especially. Failing that then anyone from a similar latitude or who has some insight into this would be most welcome to chip in.

Rabbits are induced ovulators so there isn't a specific breeding season. I find they are generally more receptive in mild weather, around 70 degrees.

The act of breeding. Which means the physical mounting and breeding by a buck. I just bred two does once to get them to induce then will repeats the breeding 12 hours later to increase fertilization. It's all non proven as far as I know about when to breed after so many hours but mainly just other breeders notice what works and spread the news to help out others.
