I the shoulder thickness related to muscle?

So, all of the Holland Lops in my Rabbitry have boney shoulders, except our little spunky buck Cloud. Cloud is one that we raised ourselves, Cloud always seems to mess up his cage. He is always jumping around and having fun in his cage, because of that it makes me think that there is a correlation between the two, is this true?
 
The actual shoulder blades are fairly prominent on any rabbit.

As far as should thickness, I'm assuming you mean the width of the shoulders from side to side? Holland Lops are supposed to have a wide shoulder, which is a genetic characteristic. You have to breed Hollands with wide shoulders into your herd to get that trait...you can't make them thicker through exercise and building muscle. Muscle does help "fill out" a rabbit, but it does not fix faults (narrow shoulders).
