Benji's New Pad :)

Here are some pics of Benji in his new home . He has settled in really nicely, especially with my housemates- I will add more pictures of him exploring the flat etc. later. He scared me the first day by not pooping for an entire day but is now back to his normal self, pooing everywhere (which you can see from the pics )

One thing, though, he seems to have forgotten his litter tray habits!!! I am placing all his poops in his litter tray, and trying to move it to the corner he seems to like best, but he just isn't interested. I've washed his bedding multiple times because (no suprise) he just wees on them.

Any advice? Will this just settle down?

He's probably just adjusting to the new place, as are you. Give the litter habits some time to settle. Is he neutered? Maybe try hay in a bigger litter box in the corner he keeps pooping in?

Poor Benji. He's got so much space there he's probably not sure where to go. Usually takes a couple of days after a move for things to normalize.

Wow, great setup for a very BEAUTIFUL:heartbeat: Bunny. Benji is very lucky to have so much room.

Now that big container with the hay is that a litter box too? As was suggested I would hang a rack of hay above the triangular litter box. My piggies (bunnies) all eat tons of hay as they are doing their business.

Also I would put something in the cage area that Benji can hide in, like a box or one of those hidey houses. I've actually just put a stool in the cages and Winston & Vega loves laying under it. BUTif Benji is a jumper you'll have to be careful he doesn't jump out of his cage.:shock:
