Condensed Pine Pellets

I got a large bag of Condensed Pine Pellets from my local feed barn. My question is...are they safe? I've seen mixed opinions about used pine pellets. It's Guardian Horse Bedding, but they said it should do the trick. Opinions?

The horse bedding pellets are totally safe. I've used them for years, as well as many other members here.

:yeahthat: If the Pine has been kiln dried, all the phenols are gone and it's safe.

I love the Guardian pine pellets. Everything I've read indicates they're safe and they have helped quite a bit with odor control.

I was wondering this myself since I bought some kiln dried pine pellets to use for my bunny.. I made sure they had no accelerant or anything but wood. Douglas fir I think it said it was. I don't have my rabbit on them yet, but are these safe to use? I am letting the bag "ventilate" anyways to be safe.
