I got a bale of timothy hay. I have some posts on craigs and a neighborhood forum to sell half of it Oxbow if anyone is in wisconsin.

Best to store at what temperature and garage? basement ? Real nice long stringy hay was like 50 a bale delivered.
 
Hay needs to breathe, so needs to be kept in an open container so it can breathe.

Some place free of air borne moulds to be best of your ability... so no damp places, DRY is best.
 
I use Oxbow products exclusively, and my little sweetheart is 5+ years of age and still like a young bunny. I keep mine in a large UNCOVERED plastic tote in her room. She has a hay manger in her toilet house, and another in her room that I made from an old nightstand. I call it her barn.
My hay is always fresh smelling, and she loves it.
