I have horses and feed them 2nd cut timothy/grass hay.
I'm assuming hay is hay and I can just feed her the same hay as the horse, correct?

Yes. Just make sure its not mouldy or too dusty. All thr bad things you wouldnt want a horse to have either.
Stay away from lucerne/alfalfa and if the hay has had a chance to mature, as in grow seed heads you may not whant them to have all the extra starch and sugars from those.
Most people save money by getting their hay at a feed/tack store
some people dont understand that the stuff in a bag came from the same place as the big bales hehe.
