Reccomended by: Val Rocco
Comments by Val: Dr. Atlas is a little more expensive than some but he is recommended by most vets in the area as the rabbit expert. He operated on one of my rabbits...for a large lump in his dewlap. I recommend him highly!

Dr. Alan Riley
(HRS, Petbunny)
Becker Animal Clinic
1901 27th Avenue South
Birmingham, AL
(205) 871-2371

Comments by Lisa: They have one Dr. there who is very knowledgable about rabbits and I had my boy neutered and both myself and a friend of mine had our girls spayed by him, and we are very happy with the service and support he provided...more affordable prices for spay/neuter services (than the vet listed above)
Comments by Val: Dr. Riley is the vet to see there and he is very good. He does a lot of rabbit spays and neuters and has low fees. (As of last year, when I last asked him, he had not lost a rabbit during a spay/neuter.) He isn't the most knowledgeable on rabbit illnesses but he is quick to admit he doesn't know something and he calls Dr. Atlas for advice.
Comments by Cindy: Clinic mainly treats cats and dogs, but will treat rabbits.
