Fruits are full of sugar and so are carrots so should only be given as treats occasionally. Shida gets an unlimited supply of hay (mix of Lucerne and Timothy as I am weening her off the lucerne), in the morning she gets a small handful of oxbow pellets and at night a handful of dark leafy greens and Asian greens

Herbs and leafy greens are very good for rabbits, fruits and vegetables should be much more moderated because they tend to be high in sugar and can easily cause stomach upsets.

For leafy greens you can feed lettuce (not iceberg), silverbeet, spinach, parsley, basil, oregano, mint, cilantro, carrot tops, bok choy, can also feed broccoli but cruciferous veggies can cause gas. Fruits and vegetables are considered treat foods and should be fed in very small amounts. This includes, carrots, apple (no seeds), banana, raisins, tomato etc.

With any of the above foods, if you're going to start feeding them, you need to introduce them one by one, and very slowly. 1 small piece (smaller than your thumb) the first day, if everything is fine the next day you can increase it a little and so on. After a week of good response, you can introduce the next new food.
