I have two large apple trees in my back yard and I've been giving Nessa (along with my gerbils) branches to chew on. Well today, the branch I gave Nessa had several leaves on it and she went nuts for them! I became curious and googled if rabbits can even have apple leaves and some sources I found said it could poison them! My heart dropped into my stomach when I read that. Does anyone know if that's true?

Everything I've read says the branches and leaves are safe for rabbits. My buns love them and I've never seen it causing them any problems. The only thing is you want to make sure they aren't sprayed with pesticides and that the leaves are healthy with no rusting or mildew.
