hi all

im having problems with lucy's litter tray with her

wet shavings clumping and it makes it hard to clean out her tray

i was going to use abit of vegetable oil in it to try and see if that helps

any help would be benefial

i normally have to use an old spoon for her tray that we use for lucy

varna xxxx

Usually scrubbing with a vinegar water solution does the trick. I have the same problem with Devon and Amber.

I use full strength vinegar, let itsoak for a few minutes, then scrub with an old toothbrush. If the stain is still there, I let it soaklonger. I had no problems getting caked on stains out withvinegar. Rinse well when finished.

With Woody Pet, I find stains don't stick on mytrays, and I am able to scoop out the wet stuffwith a big spoon.

There is my thread on how I clean out the litter........

That's what I do too Varna. :D

I switch out the old one for a new box in themorning, and at night before bed I clean out bothof the litter boxes getting them ready for the next day. This is a real time saver.

Rainbows! :)
