Two questions about pellets

Hi everyone,

I am considering switching pellet brands because I simply can't gothrough enough Agway pellets before they spoil. My vet gave us oxbowhay and I just love it. So I was considering oxbow pellets. Has anyoneused these? And should I feed devon (5 mos) the alfalfa based pellets?I will definitely feed amber (19 mos) the timothy based.

I don't use Oxbow, it just isn't economical forme, but I've heard only good things about it. TechnicallyDevon should have alfalfa for another month, until he's basically fullgrown.

It's GREAT stuff, but REALLY expensive when you've got a few bunns....

and it's hard to get in Canada, so I stopped using it!

To help with the spoiling you can freeze pellets until your ready to use them.

Puter, I never knew that!

I thought you put pellets in the ref. so it can be freshly? Or, is it the same thing. x)

My bunnies love Oxbow. We get it from our vet and don't have to pay the high shipping cost.

I buy large bags, divide into 4 containers and freeze 3 ofthem. Any pellet will keep in the freezer for up to 3months.
