What happens to wild rabbits when their burrowsare flooded? Can they swim out? Or walkout? Do they go to another location to dig another burrow?

The wild bunnies near me, the area that they burrow in has beenflooded. :( I wonder what has happened to my sweetlittle wild bunnies.

They Very likely gotout before the water gottoo deep , only ones that wouldnt make itout are the babies if therewere any new borns . sorry , :(

:(the ones that survived, would they move elsewhere? Somewhere nearby?

Yes they will relocate, but its really hard to saysometimes they stay in the general areasometimes they move to a saferlocation in a week you will know for sure.

Might they go back into their old burrows after the water dries out?

Maybe but not if naybabies drowned there , they wont staywhere the smell willattract preditors.

Thats a good question Kricket. I loveto watch the wild bunnies out in a field where I drive byoften. I feel like I have to "check up" on them you know?Taking care of fellow bunnies.:p
