On the hunt

My fiance and I have decided now that we are in our house and have the time and space we are ready to get a rabbit or two. We saw a few at the local shelter but the next closest shelter that has them an available is 3.5 hours away which is doable but since that shelter has a rule they much check out the house first it isn't really doable. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other shelters/rescues or knew of any available around Omaha, Ne. We can drive 2-3 hours if needed.

If they can't check out your house because of distance sometimes they are willing to FaceTime or Skype to see your house. That's what a shelter did for me.
