My rabbits live in a safe enclosure outside, off the ground. No bunny has lived in it since Christmas and I will be bringing home my new bun, Toby tomorrow. I cleaned out the old straw, but I'm not sure what else I could do to make him comfortable in his new place. I know that he will still probably smell Roy. Can I do anything to make Toby feel welcome?:runningrabbit:

If he has any supplies he is using currently, (litter box, water/food dishes, toys), he'd probably feel most at home still having those around. I didn't worry much about other rabbits' smells in my spare cage when I brought home Aurora, and she did fine. I would just give him some time to settle into his new environment.

Toby is such a cute name! Can't wait to see him!

Thanks! My brother actually came up with the name Toby because I wanted to stick to cowboy/western names so my brother suggested Toby Keith. It stuck! As soon as I have the chance, I will be posting pics!
