Bribery with treats and herbs--not all are lap bunnies and you have to work hard at getting them used to being picked up--note I didn't use "like" in that last sentence as you have to train them to let you pick them up or a lot of things will be harder to do such as nails, and scent gland cleaning to mention a few.
